How is the split calculated?

Parity uses the income data you provide to calculate a ratio (e.g., if Partner A earns 60% of the total household income, they pay 60% of the shared expenses). You can adjust this ratio manually in settings if you prefer a different split.

Is my financial data safe?

Yes. Your data is encrypted and stored securely in the cloud using Google Firebase, a world-class backend infrastructure. We prioritize your privacy and do not sell your personal financial data to third parties.

Why isn't my data syncing with my partner?

Parity uses real-time cloud syncing to keep you and your partner up to date. If changes aren't appearing, please check the following:

• You have an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or Cellular).
• You are both signed into your Parity accounts.
• You have successfully linked your accounts within the app.
